The Escanaba Eskymos crushed the host North Central Jets baseball team by a count of 6-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eskymos now possess a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marquette for a Freelance bout on Monday, May 2. Escanaba will face a Redmen team coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Manistique (Manistique, MI). The Redmen record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Jets face the Manistique Emeralds (Manistique, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 2. North Central will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Emeralds enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI).
