In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Fort Frye Cadets baseball team scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Philo Electrics.
The Cadets (9-4) will now prepare for their game against Frontier (New Matamoras, OH). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Frontier tipped Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH), 3-1, in a non-league game.
The Electrics (10-6) will now prepare for their game against John Glenn (New Concord, OH). The Little Muskies go into the Muskingum Valley game with a 10-6 record. In their last game, John Glenn by Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH), 9-4, in a non-league game.
