In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK) baseball squad edged the host Noble Bears (Noble, OK), by a final score of 5-4.
With the win, Newcastle upgrades its record to 25-9 on the season. The Racers travel to Crossings Christian (Oklahoma City, OK) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 12-9.
With the defeat, Noble falls to 22-13 on the season. The Bears host Santa Fe South (Oklahoma City, OK) to battle the Saints in a 5A District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 30. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 2-28.
