Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT), 6-5 in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Bethel for a South West battle on Wednesday, May 4.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Lauralton Hall Crusaders (Milford, CT) in a Southern Connecticut battle, on Monday, May 2. Amity Regional will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the battle with a 6-4 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Trumbull (Trumbull, CT).
