Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL), 18-3 in a non-league test.
The Romans now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kenwood for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 3. Latin will face a Broncos squad coming off a 12-10 league win over Taft (Chicago, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 3-5.
In their next game, the Giants face the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 3. Highland Park will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 4-6 record after their 11-10 non-league loss to Carmel (Mundelein, IL).
