New York High School Lacrosse - Long Beach overwhelms St. John the Baptist

The Long Beach Marines walloped the host St. John the Baptist Cougars lacrosse team by a final score of 15-8 in Saturday's non-league match.
With the win, Long Beach betters its record to 4-6 on the season. The Marines travel to Syosset (Syosset, NY) to play the Braves in a Section 8 A match on Tuesday, May 3. The Braves go into the match with a record of 4-6.
With the defeat, St. John the Baptist drops to 1-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Holy Trinity (Hicksville, NY) to play the Titans in a Catholic match on Monday, May 2. The Titans go into the match with a record of 1-2. Holy Trinity won 19-11 in their recent non-league match against Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY)
