The crowd at Saturday's league game between the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) and the visiting Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT), saw Staples's lacrosse team top Trumbull by a final score of 19-8.
The Wreckers (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Ludlowe toppled Westhill (Stamford, CT), 16-4, in a non-league game.
The Eagles (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT). The Cardinals come into the Fairfield County-West battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Greenwich achieved victory over Warde (Fairfield, CT), 17-1, in a non-league battle.
