In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Waubonsie Valley Warriors soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Downers Grove South Mustangs.
The Warriors (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats come into the DuPage Valley battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Neuqua Valley nudged Fremd (Palatine, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Hornets come into the West Suburban - Gold battle with a 6-7 record.
