The Palmer Moose soccer team scored 1 points and limited the host Nikiski Bulldogs to 0 in the Moose non-league victory on Saturday.
Next up, the Moose clash with the Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK) in a Northern Lights battle, on Monday, May 2. Palmer will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Grizzlies go into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK).
The Bulldogs (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Homer (Homer, AK). The Mariners go into the Peninsula battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Homer was nudged by Redington (Wasilla, AK), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
