The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders (Colorado Springs, CO), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Coursers confront the Trinidad Miners (Trinidad, CO) in a 2A Tri Peaks challenge, on Wednesday, May 4. The Vanguard School will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Miners enter the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Colorado Springs School (Colorado Springs, CO).

The Highlanders now possess a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host James Irwin for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Thomas MacLaren School will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, CO). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-8.
