California High School Baseball - Piedmont loses to St. Joseph Notre Dame

The St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots crushed the visiting Piedmont Highlanders baseball team by a tally of 8-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pilots now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Oakland Tech for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 5. St. Joseph Notre Dame will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-2 league win over Skyline (Oakland, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-12.
Next, the Highlanders face the Berean Christian Eagles (Walnut Creek, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 3. Piedmont will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 7-13 record after their 5-1 league loss to Alhambra (Martinez, CA).
