Northwest Wolves (Waukee, IA) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Bettendorf Bulldogs (Bettendorf, IA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolves confront the Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, May 3. Northwest will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record.
With the loss, Bettendorf drops to 4-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Iowa City (Iowa City, IA) to encounter the Little Hawks in a non-league test on Saturday, April 30. The Little Hawks come into the test with a record of 0-1.
