Alabama High School Softball - Ardmore bounces Sumiton Christian

The Ardmore Tigers routed the host Sumiton Christian Eagles softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Tigers (27-16) will now prepare for their battle against Northside (Northport, AL). The Rams go into the non-league battle with a 25-10 record. In their last battle, Northside topped Haleyville (Haleyville, AL), 9-1, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now sport a 10-17 record. They play next when they host Cold Springs for a 2A Area 10 battle on Tuesday, May 3. Sumiton Christian will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-8.
