The Bremen Lions softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Mishawaka Marian Knights to 8 in the Lions league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Bremen moves its record to 8-4 on the year. The Lions host New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN) to clash with the Cougars in a Northern Indiana game on Monday, May 2. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 12-4. New Prairie won 11-0 in their recent non-league game against Marquette Catholic (Michigan City, IN)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) in a Northern Indiana game, on Monday, May 2. Mishawaka Marian will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Kingsmen come into the game with a 9-6 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN).
