In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Brookfield Bobcats softball team scored a close 1-0 win over the New Canaan Rams.

Coming up next, the Bobcats battle the Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial outing, on Monday, May 2. Brookfield will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Nighthawks enter the outing with a 10-3 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Immaculate (Danbury, CT).

The Rams (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against McMahon (Norwalk, CT). The Senators enter the Fairfield County outing with a 9-2 record. In their last outing, McMahon was tipped by Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT), 12-1, in a league outing.
