The Brookside Cardinals softball team (Sheffield, OH), was tipped 12-11 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH)

Coming up next, the Hilltoppers clash with the Ursuline Fighting Irish (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 30. Chardon will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record.

The Cardinals (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Oberlin (Oberlin, OH). The The Phoenix come into the Lorain County 8 test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Oberlin was tipped by Keystone (La Grange, OH), 14-3, in a league test.
