In Saturday's non-league contest, the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears (Juneau, AK) softball team held off the visiting Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), by a margin of 7-6.
With the triumph, Juneau-Douglas moves its record to 9-7 on the year. The Crimson Bears host Thunder Mountain (Juneau, AK) to play the Falcons in a Southeast contest on Friday, May 6. The Falcons come into the contest with a record of 10-7. Thunder Mountain lost 5-4 in their recent non-league contest against Sitka (Sitka, AK)
In their next game, the Senators play the Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 30. Carson will attempt to move on its 14-12 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 0-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV).
