The Eldred Yellowjackets softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Ellenville Blue Devils to 6 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Eldred improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Livingston Manor (Livingston Manor, NY) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 4. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 2-0.

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Dover Dragons (Dover Plains, NY) in a Mid Hudson Athletic game, on Monday, May 2. Ellenville will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Dragons come into the game with a 3-4 record after their 19-6 non-league loss to Housatonic (Falls Village, CT).
