Tri-West Hendricks Bruins (Lizton, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans (Indianapolis, IN), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bruins now own a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frankfort for a Sagamore challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Tri-West Hendricks will face a Hot Dogs squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Clinton Central (Michigantown, IN). The Hot Dogs record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Zionsville (Zionsville, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 4. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 8-8.
