In Saturday's league contest, the Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT), by a margin of 10-1.
With the triumph, Waterford moves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Lancers travel to Griswold (Griswold, CT) to play the Wolverines in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 5. The Wolverines come into the contest with a record of 1-10. Griswold lost 9-1 in their recent league contest against Plainfield (Central Village, CT)
In their next game, the Redmen play the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 3. Killingly will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record.
