In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Lake Zurich Bears softball team scored a nice 8-0 win over the New Trier Trevians.

Coming up next, the Bears battle the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) in a North Suburban outing, on Monday, May 2. Lake Zurich will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Blue Devils enter the outing with a 15-6 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL).

The Trevians (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Spartans enter the Central Suburban - South outing with a 5-14 record. In their last outing, Glenbrook North was routed by Libertyville (Libertyville, IL), 6-2, in a non-league outing.
