Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lawrence Central Bears (Indianapolis, IN), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Quakers now own a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Noblesville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. Plainfield will battle a Millers squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Millers record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Lawrence Central falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Bears travel to New Castle (New Castle, IN) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. New Castle won 16-3 in their recent league challenge against Delta (Muncie, IN)
