Rhode Island High School Softball - Ludlowe bounces Mt. Hope

The Ludlowe Falcons routed the host Mt. Hope Huskies softball squad by a count of 8-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Falcons (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Tigers go into the Fairfield County battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Ridgefield was routed by Stamford (Stamford, CT), 11-5, in a league battle.

The Huskies now sport a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Rogers for a Division 2 A battle on Tuesday, May 3. Mt. Hope will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-7.
