Ohio High School Softball - Shelby bounces River View

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Shelby Whippets (Shelby, OH) and the host River View Black Bears (Warsaw, OH), witnessed Shelby's softball squad prevail over River View by a count of 14-4.

The Whippets now sport a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Ashland for a non-league match on Monday, May 2. Shelby will face a Arrows squad coming off a 9-7 league win over Lexington (Lexington, OH). The Arrows record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, River View moves to 2-10 on the season. The Black bears travel to Smithville (Smithville, OH) to face the Smithies in a non-league match on Saturday, April 30. The Smithies go into the match with a record of 1-8. Smithville lost 11-0 in their recent league match against Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH)
