In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Avalon Black Knights baseball team scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers.
The Black Knights (11-9) will now prepare for their match against Pallotti (Laurel, MD). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 9-6 record. In their last match, Pallotti edged Sts. Peter & Paul (Easton, MD), 10-0, in a league match.
The Mighty Hoppers (3-14) will now prepare for their match against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The Lions go into the Mid-Atlantic-MAC match with a 1-14 record. In their last match, St. Andrew's Episcopal was overwhelmed by Potomac School (McLean, VA), 23-0, in a league match.
