McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Corry Beavers (Corry, PA), 9-0 in a league test.

With the win, McDowell upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Trojans host Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA) to battle the Ramblers in a District 10 Region 5 test on Tuesday, May 7. The Ramblers come into the test with a record of 12-2. Cathedral Prep lost 7-2 in their recent non-league test against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH)

With the defeat, Corry falls to 2-10 on the season. The Beavers host Seneca (Erie, PA) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league test on Saturday, May 4. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 4-8. Seneca won 4-3 in their recent league test against Northwestern (Albion, PA)
