In Tuesday's non-league game, the host St. Francis Fighting Saints baseball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Denfeld Hunters.
The Fighting Saints (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Cloquet (Cloquet, MN). The Lumberjacks go into the non-league game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Cloquet tipped North Branch (North Branch, MN), 4-3, in a non-league game.
The Hunters (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Hibbing (Hibbing, MN). The Bluejackets go into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Hibbing was overwhelmed by Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin (Coleraine, MN), 4-1, in a non-league game.
