The Floyd Central Highlanders baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Providence Pioneers to 4 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Highlanders (15-2) will now prepare for their match against Seymour (Seymour, IN). The Owls go into the Hoosier Hills match with a 11-3 record. In their last match, Seymour edged Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN), 6-1, in a non-league match.
The Pioneers (10-5) will now prepare for their match against New Albany (New Albany, IN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, New Albany edged North Harrison (Ramsey, IN), 6-0, in a non-league match.
