The Lake of the Woods Bears baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Frazee Hornets to 2 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] (Newfolden, MN). The Northern Freeze go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] was overwhelmed by Sacred Heart (East Grand Forks, MN), 10-0, in a league match.
The Hornets (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Lake Park-Audubon (Lake Park, MN). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 2-5 record.
