The Marion Center Stingers baseball team (Marion Center, PA), was overwhelmed 14-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA)
The Chucks now hold a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookville for a District 9 outing on Wednesday, May 1. Punxsutawney will confront a Raiders team coming off a 11-5 league loss to St. Marys (St. Marys, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-6.
Next, the Stingers confront the Penns Manor Comets (Clymer, PA) in a Heritage outing, on Thursday, May 2. Marion Center will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Comets go into the outing with a 4-12 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA).
