The Marquette Mustangs baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting St. Dominic Crusaders to 7 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs (8-15) will now prepare for their match against Vianney (Kirkwood, MO). The Golden Griffins go into the Class 6 District 2 match with a 11-15 record. In their last match, Vianney was edged by De Smet Jesuit (St. Louis, MO), 15-0, in a non-league match.
The Crusaders (18-7) will now prepare for their match against St. Charles West (St. Charles, MO). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 10-10 record. In their last match, St. Charles West was edged by Warrenton (Warrenton, MO), 6-5, in a non-league match.
