The Oceanside Sailors lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the visiting Lynbrook Owls to 7 in the Sailors league win on Tuesday.

The Sailors (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Bethpage (Bethpage, NY). The Golden Eagles go into the Section 8 B game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Bethpage was overwhelmed by Calhoun (Merrick, NY), 11-9, in a non-league game.

The Owls (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Mepham (North Bellmore, NY). The Pirates go into the Section 8 B game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Mepham prevailed over MacArthur (Levittown, NY), 11-6, in a non-league game.
