Next, the Comets confront the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) in a Raccoon River challenge, on Saturday, May 4. North Polk will attempt to better on its 16-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Perry (Perry, IA).

The Bombers now have a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they host Baxter for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. Ballard will confront a team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to West Central Valley (Stuart, IA). The record now stands at 2-7.
