Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN), 16-7 in a league challenge.

The Magic now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Francis for a challenge on Wednesday, May 1.

With the loss, North Branch falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Hermantown (Hermantown, MN) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
