In Tuesday's league contest, the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) lacrosse squad routed the host Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA), by a count of 9-0.
Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a Jefferson contest, on Friday, May 3. Albemarle will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Fighting Hornets come into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 15-3 league loss to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA).
The Flying Flucos now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Albemarle for a Jefferson challenge on Friday, May 3. Fluvanna County will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Powhatan (Powhatan, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-3.
