In Tuesday's league test, the host Ward Melville Patriots lacrosse squad scored a good 16-7 victory over the Commack Cougars.

The Patriots now have a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lindenhurst for a Section 11 I test on Thursday, May 2. Ward Melville will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-6 league loss to William Floyd (Mastic Beach, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-8.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Connetquot T-Birds (Bohemia, NY) in a Section 11 I test, on Thursday, May 2. Commack will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The T-Birds come into the test with a 8-5 record after their 13-6 league loss to Ward Melville (East Setauket, NY).
