Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA), 9-5 in a non-league battle.

The Matadors now have a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Campolindo for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 2. Miramonte will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-5.

The Cougars now own a 8-11 record.
