Andover Huskies (Andover, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN), 9-7 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Spring Lake Park for a Northwest Suburban challenge on Thursday, May 2. Andover will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 5-2 league win over Centennial (Circle Pines, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Coon Rapids falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Champlin Park (Champlin, MN) to battle the Rebels in a Northwest Suburban challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. Champlin Park won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN)
