Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels (Moose Lake, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Barnum Bombers (Barnum, MN), 9-3 in a league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crosby-Ironton for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. Moose Lake/Willow River will face a Rangers squad coming off a 10-5 league loss to Aitkin (Aitkin, MN). The Rangers record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Barnum falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN) to face the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 4-2.
