The Rutherford Bulldogs routed the host Becton Wildcats softball squad by a count of 5-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Bulldogs (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ). The Rams go into the non-league battle with a 12-1 record.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Pequannock for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 2. Becton will meet a Golden Panthers squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ). The Golden Panthers record now stands at 3-16.
