The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Clever Blue Jays (Clever, MO) and the host Billings Wildcats (Billings, MO), saw Clever's softball squad nip Billings by a count of 13-7.

The Blue Jays now sport a 14-14 record. They take the field next when they host Forsyth for a Class 2 District 5 match on Friday, May 3. Clever will face a Panthers squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Marionville (Marionville, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 14-16.

With the loss, Billings falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Crane (Crane, MO) to face the Pirates in a Class 1 District 5 match on Friday, May 3. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 15-6. Crane won 15-0 in their recent league match against Verona (Verona, MO)
