The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Gideon Bulldogs (Gideon, MO) and the visiting Campbell Camels (Campbell, MO), saw Gideon's softball squad achieve victory over Campbell by a count of 24-14.

The Bulldogs now sport a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Scott County Central for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 1.

With the loss, Campbell falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Camels host South Pemiscot (Steele, MO) to face the Bulldogs in a Class 1 District 1 match on Thursday, May 2. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 10-14.
