The Cranberry Area Berries (Seneca, PA) softball nipped the visiting DuBois Beavers (DuBois, PA), 7-6 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Berries (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Karns City (Karns City, PA). The Gremlins go into the Keystone Shortway - South bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Karns City held off Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA), 13-11, in a non-league bout.

The Beavers now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to DuBois Central Catholic for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 4. DuBois will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Brockway (Brockway, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-2.
