The Earlville Red Raiders softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting South Beloit Sobos to 7 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Earlville moves its record to 1-8 on the year. The Red Raiders host Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL) to clash with the Hawks in a Little Ten game on Monday, May 6. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 4-12.

In their next game, the Sobos clash with the Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 6. South Beloit will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Marcos come into the game with a 6-12 record after their 17-5 league win over Forreston (Forreston, IL).
