The Ellis Railroaders softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Ellinwood Eagles to 9 in the Railroaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Ellis moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Railroaders travel to Bucklin (Bucklin, KS) to clash with the Red Aces in a non-league game on Monday, May 6. The Red Aces come into the game with a record of 3-7. Bucklin lost 21-7 in their recent non-league game against Ness City (Ness City, KS)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Minneapolis Lions (Minneapolis, KS) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 3. Ellinwood will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 8-6 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Sylvan-Lucas (Sylvan Grove, KS).
