Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado (Lancaster, PA), 15-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Mountaineers now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lebanon for a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 challenge on Wednesday, May 1. Ephrata will clash with a Cedars team coming off a 19-2 league loss to Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA). The Cedars record now stands at 1-15.

In their next game, the Red Tornado clash with the Warwick Warriors (Lititz, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 1 game, on Wednesday, May 1. J.P. McCaskey will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 11-3 record after their 14-4 league win over Hempfield (Landisville, PA).
