Indiana High School Softball - Knightstown can't hold off Union City

April 30, 2024: Knightstown, IN 46148

The Union City Indians softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Knightstown Panthers to 10 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Union City improves its record to 5-9 on the year. The Indians travel to Cowan (Muncie, IN) to clash with the Blackhawks in a non-league game on Thursday, May 2. The Blackhawks come into the game with a record of 1-13. Cowan won 10-2 in their recent league game against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the North Decatur Chargers (Greensburg, IN) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 1. Knightstown will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Chargers come into the game with a 5-4 record after their 11-2 non-league win over South Ripley (Versailles, IN).
