The Scotland/Menno Trappers (Menno, SD) softball routed the host Parkston Trojans (Parkston, SD), 8-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Trappers (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Hanson (Alexandria, SD). The Beavers go into the Class B challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Hanson got by McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD), 13-3, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Parkston falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 10-5. Gayville-Volin won 25-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD)
