The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Arlington Spy Ponders (Arlington, MA) and the visiting Melrose Red Raiders (Melrose, MA), saw Arlington's baseball team gain a win over Melrose by a tally of 7-1.

The Spy Ponders (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Watertown (Watertown, MA). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Watertown was overwhelmed by Winchester (Winchester, MA), 8-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Red Raiders face the Westport Wildcats (Westport, MA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 2. Melrose will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 8-3 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Hull (Hull, MA).
