The Westwood Wolverines baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Bellingham Blackhawks to 1 in the Wolverines league win on Wednesday.
The Wolverines now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Norton for a Tri-Valley test on Friday, May 2. Westwood will play a Lancers team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Norwood (Norwood, MA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-7.
With the defeat, Bellingham drops to 1-8 on the year. The Blackhawks travel to Ashland (Ashland, MA) to play the Clockers in a Tri-Valley test on Friday, May 2. The Clockers go into the test with a record of 5-7. Ashland lost 7-6 in their recent league test against Medway (Medway, MA)
